This year 2011 really is a tough year for Training Business.The Govt have drastically “chopped off” their agencies budgets from 30% to 60% and when we meet these Govt Bosses they will say “no budget” and maybe try again next year or “go away”!
However those who are experts in this management of “ampu budek” or “kipas strategy” then they will managed to get some projects or jobs offered by the “good friends” in these agencies!If you just apply based on merit and formal proposals styles then you may be rejected and your hard work will just go to waste and either your proposals are returned back to you or kept where God Knows where they are!
Countries like Indonesia one time before (say 5 years ago) it seems so hard or difficult to do business the “right ways” and you need these “mafia skills” of bribing,cheating,ampu budek,bluffing,cronism and what have you so that you get the bsuiness done and make profits.Ramli had many bad experiences when he tried to trade in railway sleepers (hard wood) with Indonesians in Sumatra Region esp in Riau,Medan,Padang and Pekan Baru areas.Finally all the sweat,hard work and expenses all gone kaput or bust as a result of cheating,dishonest and bad intentions of the Seller (Indonesian Traders)!
Ramli do not know whats the current trading status and results?
So the practise of NONSENSE MANAGEMENT like bribing,cheating,no good faith,bribe seekings all will lead to disaster and noboby like these styles!
Good Business are done by the Right People with the Right Ways and the Output are all Right and Meet to Great Satisfaction.
When our Business Environment are filled with “hopeless people” “corrupt people” and poor personalities and if we do not STOP THESE NONSENSE or Curb all these bad practices we will further build more Bad Environment where all these Nons ense Mgmt styles are accepted,becoming a norm and worst still way of life for all!
You will never find these Nonsense Mgmt if you do business in countries or world class organisations in USA,UK,Japan,Singapore or other DEVELOPED NATIONS!Why?
These are the Right Ways of Business DealIngs where bribes,cheating,corrupt practices are NOT ACCEPTED,TOLERATED AND WILL BE CURTAILED AND SEVERELY PUNISHED as these are terms as poor business practices and not accepted If the country or company want to be WORLD CLASS,RECOQNISED OR GLOBAL CHAMPIONS AND ROLE MODELS!
They will also not allow the Powerful Politicians to interfere or disrupt the right ways of them doing business and nobody will entertained cronyism,favouritisn and ways that are considered Bad Practices!
Only by these discipline and continual adherence to Good Management Practices can we really Build Good to Great Business and Help Make Our People more worthy,full of trust,good business people,dependable and help make their company and country to Grow,Prosper and get the Blessings of Allah SWT (God Almighty).Inshallah.
