See the Pos Ekpres tracking of their parcel which customers like Ramli have posted:
Note:
After Ramli called up their Posline and check about the parcel, they said the parcel is already delivered to UiTM and Ramli need to inform his daughter to check with UiTM HEP Dept to retrieve the parcel.Luckily there was no perishable items like choclates or cakes otherwise the items will go bad and become useless. It just a book and some bottles of perfumes.
So,how can we blend HIGH TECH and HUMAN TOUCH with excellent results and satisfied customers?Thats the real challenge!

Latest News:
My daughter still did not receive the Pos Ekspres parcel and she was informed to call Kota Samarahan Pos to check whether the parcel is with them (Samarahan Pos Tel:082663515).What’s happening now?Pos Line Rep said the parcel have been delivered to UiTM already but UiTM HEP said they do not have the parcel at all! What’s important now?The High Tech stuff we install in the Pos System or the Human Touch that cannot deliver the service? Finally, its the outcome, right? My daughter and me as Customers is not satisfied at all!
I am still trying to study where the parcel is now or is it stolen or damaged and thrown away?I hope my daughter gets my parcel as soon as possible!
Its funny,my parcel of books which was send by my Business Partner in London arrived as planned yesterday by DHL Courier without any complications or hassles. The only pain is paying the bill of about GBP 50 at London side which is cheaper paying at Malaysian side that costs about RM900 (almost GBP 200).Does that mean you get better services or quality services by paying more?Whats the critical success factor here,is it the High Tech or the Human Touch stuff?Whats the difference between Pos Malaysia and DHL?
Latest (at 6.30pm on 2ndAug,2010)
Ramli called again Pos Line 1-300-300-300 with a voice message to hold the line while the Service Rep get back to me but after 2 calls (and wasted my pre paid credits) there was no response to speak with the Service Rep!Is it a High Tech or Human Touch problem here?
If Pos LIne does not operate after 6pm then they must informed in their Pos Line and customers like Ramli do not have to wait n wait…still wanting to solve this parcel problem and should Ramli speak with the Pos CEO or UiTM Head of Kota Samarahan Campus to resolve this problem immediately! If this is a problem cannot be resolve then Customers must find other service providers that can serve better and with great satisfaction (but maybe we must pay more RM)
Latest (as on 10thAug,2010)
Finally yesterday my daughter informed me that the parcel was finally found at UiTM office and have been there since 21stJuly,2010!The Office Person informed my daughter to personally check the many postal deliveries including the pos ekspres in the office and true enough my daughter found her parcel which I have posted since 20thJuly,2010.So,its Human Touch error after all and not the High Tech stuff that we believe can make live so easy for all of us when we invest lots of money for this High Tech tools in our processes.
What we learn so far from this case study?
With all the High Tech stuff we inject in our processes and without the Human Touch (dedication, sincerity, discipline) we will still failed and not get the desired outcome that we really want.Just like installing High Tech public phone booths in the streets and without discipline or care, these High Tech Public Phone Booths will get vandalised and soon will just become a “sore sight” of useless metal and structure laying around without much can be done or serve the people around the area.
