There are over 170 Channels to choose from. There are currently the following packages:

  • Family Pack Basic-30 channels
  • Mini Packs-Learning, News, Variety, Kids and Teens
  • Other Packs- Dynasty, New Emperor, Gold, Mustika, Indo, Maharaja, Movies, Metro, Sports, VOD, HD service and Recording service.

Currently, Astro uses the Philips DVB850s Set Top Box for Astro and the Philips DVB900 Set Top Box for Astro B. Yond.

NJOI[1][edit]

Free Satellite TV from Astro, as launched in March 2012, is a cooperation Between the government and Astro. NTV7 and 8TV, Disney XD and Nat Geo Wild, Astro Awani and KBS World are expected to join the Current channel lineup by the end of 2013.
