In All about Malaysia, all about QCDSME+I, all about dps training and consultancy business, business, revolusi aksi, world class performance on February 10, 2010 by pramleeelvis Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Contoh Inovasi:

♦ Sistem Penempatan Pelajar Praktikum Secara Atas Talian (OPSP) oleh

Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), iaitu:

♦ Berfikiran terbuka atau berfikir di luar kotak (think out of the box), analitikal, kritikal dan praktikal

Perbezaan KIK Dengan KMK

Antara perbezaan KIK dengan KMK ialah:

KIK

♦ Keahlian terbuka atau merentasi semua bahagian

♦ Terdiri daripada pekerja di pelbagai peringkat jawatan

♦ Penekanan kepada aspek inovasi dan kreativiti, selain

daripada penyelesaian masalah

♦ Teknik penyelesaian masalah dipelbagaikan

♦ Memasukkan teknik penjanaan idea kreatif dan strategi

penambahbaikan proses

KMK

kawalan kualiti tertentu sahaja

♦ Tiada teknik penjanaan idea kreatif dan strategi penambahbaikan proses

Falsafah KIK

Dakwah is so important in Islam but nowadays Muslims in Malaysia take things for granted not like in EU or USA-Many Thousands are embracing Islam in EU and USA!

In All about Islam, All about Malaysia on February 10, 2010 by pramleeelvis Tagged: , , , , , , , , , ,

here’s  an article for U who wants to know more about becoming a Muslim:

I Want to Become A Muslim… But What About My Wild Past?

Question:
i’m a young girl, wanting to convert to islam, for me this religion is really the truth. The problem is, that before i discovered islam, i used to live a pretty wild life, I did a lot of wrong things (if not all wrong things). I would like to know if it’s possible for a girl like me to convert, and what should I do regarding my past when converting

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

In the name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“The revelation of the Book (this Qur’aan) is from Allaah, the All Mighty, the All Knower.

The Forgiver of sin, the Acceptor of repentance, the Severe in punishment, the Bestower (of favours). Laa ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), to Him is the final return” [Ghaafir 40:2-3 – interpretation of the meaning]

Ibn ‘Abbaas – who was one of the companions of the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) – narrated that some of the people of shirk (polytheism) killed and did a lot of killing, and they committed adultery and they did that a great deal, then they came to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, “What you say and what you are calling for is good. If only you could tell us that there is any expiation for what we have done.” Then Allaah revealed the words (interpretation of the meaning):

‘Say: “O ‘Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islamic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him (in Islam) before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.

And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur’aan, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!”

Lest a person should say: “Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allaah (i.e. I have not done what Allaah has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Laa ilaaha illAllaah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah), the Qur’aan, and Muhammad and at the faithful believers]

Or (lest) he should say: “If only Allaah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqoon (the pious).”

Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: “If only I had another chance (to return to the world), then I should indeed be among the Muhsinoon (good‑doers).”

Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.’[al-Zumar 39:53-59]”

‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas was a mushrik (polytheist, idol-worshipper), a sinner and an enemy of Allaah. He said: “When Allaah put the love of Islam into my heart, I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to pledge my allegiance to him. He stretched out his hand towards me, but I said, ‘I will not pledge allegiance to you, O Messenger of Allaah, until you forgive me my previous sins.’ The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me, ‘O ‘Amr, do you not know that Islam wipes out whatever sins came before it.’” (Narrated by Imaam Ahmad, 17159).

So flee to Allaah and know that there is nothing that you are worried about, but the solution to it is to be found in the texts quoted above. Indeed, these texts are addressed to you; they refer to your situation and contain the answer to your problem.

Your Lord is Most Merciful; He accepts repentance and forgives all sins. His Mercy encompasses all things. He calls you and all His slaves to repent and to become Muslim. He has promised you, through the words of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), that all of your previous sins, major and minor, of whatever type, will be wiped out completely when you become Muslim, and you will start with a clean sheet, a new record of deeds that is free of bad deeds. So what are you waiting for? Why delay it any further? Hasten to enter Islam and worship your Lord, and we give you the glad tidings of a happy future and a good life in the shade of Islam. We were very happy – by Allaah – to receive your question, and we are waiting to hear good news.

For more information on how to enter Islam, please look at Questions #703&11936 And Embracing Islam . May Allaah protect you from all evil, for He is the Best of Protectors and the Best of Supporters, and He is the Guide to the Straight Path.

Islam Q&A
Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid (www.islam-qa.com)

Question:

I am in the processing of becoming a truly practicing Musalman and wonder what is said regarding your life previous to the full integration of Islam. I wonder whether any experiences that I have had would limit me from becoming a follower of the straight path to Allah?
Please forgive my explicitness…but since men and women are not allowed to engage in full-blown relationships, how do I resolve the conflict that prior to it’s integration in my life, I have had different experiences and now have read repeatedly that it is forbidden…how can I possibly reconcile the two dichotomous notions? I recognize that you do receive many questions, please accept my sincere thanks for having this site, regardless of whether I receive an answer or not.
May peace be with you…:)

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

We cannot conceal our joy and pleasure at the intention expressed in your question of embracing the true religion, Islam. The confusion and hesitation that you describe are quite understandable, because when a person has been indulging in forbidden relationships and then wishes to move to a religion of purity and chastity, it is natural to feel that his own “nafs” (desires) will defeat him and that he will not be able to do what Islam requires of him in the way of purity and chastity. But we will tell you some things here which we hope will help you to overcome any difficulty that you may be fearing and give a true picture of the situation.

When a person follows the true religion, it is expected to have a far-reaching effect on his personality and behaviour, so that it re-forms him and gives him a fresh start and a new direction in life, completely different from the way he was during his “jaahiliyyah” (days of ignorance before his Islam). This radical change will produce morals and values that were not there before, which will purify his heart and fill him with a sense of chastity, so that the new Muslim looks with revulsion and disgust both at his own former deeds and at the ignorant world of promiscuity, infidelity, nakedness and utter corruption that exists in the society around him. He will come back to the sound nature (fitrah – the natural state of man) and purity of heart of which Shaytaan had robbed him during the days when he was a kaafir and sinner. This new direction in life is undertaken freely, by choice, and is accompanied by contentment and acceptance stemming from his total submission to the commands and prohibitions of Allaah, Who revealed this religion of Islam with all its laws. We have two sources of proof to support what we say here, one from the sharee’ah and one from history.

The shar’i evidence is to be found in numerous places in the Qur’aan, for example (interpretation of the meanings):

“Is he who was dead (without Faith by ignorance and by disbelief) and We gave him life (by knowledge and by faith) and set for him a light (of Belief) whereby he can walk amongst men, like him who is in the darkness (of disbelief, polytheism and hypocrisy) from which he can never come out?…” [al-An’aam 6:122]

“And those who invoke not any other god along with Allaah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse – and whoever does this shall receive the punishment.

The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace,

Except those who repent and believe, and do righteous deeds, for those, Allaah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [al-Furqaan 25:68-70]

Concerning the phrase “Allaah will change their sins into good deeds” the mufassireen (commentators) said: their evil deeds will be replaced by good deeds. ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah reported that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “These are the believers, who before they believed did evil deeds, but Allaah wanted them to do something else, so He changed their bad deeds into good deeds…”

‘Ataa’ ibn Abi Rabaah said: “This is in this world: a man may be doing evil but then Allaah replaces it with good.” Sa’eed ibn Jubayr said: “Allaah changed them from worshippers of idols into worshippers of the Most Merciful, and changed them from those who fight the Muslims into those who fight the mushrikeen (polytheists), and from those who marry mushrik women into those who marry believing women.” Al-Hasan al-Basri said: “Allaah changed them from evil deeds to good deeds, from shirk (polytheism) to ikhlaas (purity of faith), from promiscuity to chastity, from kufr to Islam.” This is the view of Abu ‘Aaliyah, Qutaadah and a group of others. (Ibn Katheer, Tafseer al-Qur’aan al-‘Azeem).

The historical evidence includes a number of stories of Muslims who entered Islam after having been kuffaar (disbelievers), and how they changed and became righteous. Among these stories is the following:

“There was a (Muslim) man called Marthad ibn Abi Marthad who used to smuggle Muslim prisoners-of-war from Makkah (which was the territory of the mushrikeen) to Madeenah (which was the territory of the Muslims). There was also a woman in Makkah, called ‘Anaaq, who was a prostitute. She had been a friend of Marthad’s (before he became Muslim). Marthad had promised to take one of the prisoners from Makkah to Madeenah. He said: “I came to the shade of one of the gardens of Makkah on a moonlit night, then ‘Anaaq came and saw my shadow by the garden. When she reached me, she recognized me and said: ‘Marthad?’ I said, ‘Marthad.’ She said: ‘Welcome! Stay with us tonight.’ I said, ‘O ‘Anaaq, Allaah has forbidden zinaa (unlawful sexual relations).’ She called out, ‘O people of the camp! This man is stealing away your prisoners!’ (i.e., she wanted to take revenge on him because he refused to have unlawful relations with her, so she called the mushrikeen to come and seize him). Eight men pursued me (and he described how Allaah saved him from them).” This event was the reason for the revelation of the aayah (interpretation of the meaning): “Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry any but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever; nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman; to the Believers such a thing is forbidden.” [al-Noor 24:3 – Yusuf ‘Ali’s translation] (Reported and classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi, 3101).

The reason for telling this story is that it illustrates how this man changed after he embraced Islam, and refused to commit the haraam deed with which he was tempted. Another story describes a woman who embraced Islam and became righteous:

‘Abd-Allaah ibn Maghfal reported that there was a woman who had been a prostitute during the days of ignorance (before Islam). A man passed by her, or she passed by him, and he touched her. She said: “Stop it! (Mah! A word connoting a rebuke or denunciation). Allaah has done away with shirk and had brought Islam.” So he left her alone and went away. (Reported by al-Haakim, who said this hadeeth is saheeh according to the conditions of Muslim, although they did not report it).

If you enter Islam and become a truly practicing Muslim, adhering to this pure sharee’ah, worshipping Allaah as He wants to be worshipped, obeying His commands and heeding His prohibitions, then in sha Allaah you will not encounter or suffer the difficulties you refer to in your question. Moreover, you will have the means of keeping chaste, such as marriage, which will help you to refrain from doing haraam deeds; marriage is enjoined by this sharee’ah. The one who chooses a pure and clean way has no need to enter the mire (of illicit relationships). We ask Allaah to guide you and make things easy for you, and to keep evil away from you. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad.

Results not Reasons -Don’t tell me all the “cock n bull” stories-If you want to be a Great CEO,remember this always!

In All about Personal Excellence, all about ramli's writings, business on February 10, 2010 by pramleeelvis Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Ramli have learned many things in his almost 54 years of living as on 1stNov,2010 this year and maybe you too!

However the People we meet in our life can be categorized as Good and Bad maybe another category as “Dont Know What They Are Doing” type.

If you meet and befriend a person who have the “right heart” or in Malay or Islam,we called it “Niat Yang Baik Semua Kerana Allah” then he or she is a Good Person and you can have great confidence and trust in them.

If you meet or befriend a person who is in the “Bad” type, then this person actually knows what is the right or bad things in life BUT prefer to take the “wrongful” ways or the “black heart” ways and the only motive is to cheat others anyway they can or have the opportunity to cheat all for their own advantage or the people they work for or the country they live in.

So,the wisdom of humans like U and Ramli is to quickly identify this Good and Bad persons.Who are they,Where they come from and Why they do all these things?Lots of questions  but answers are not forthcoming sooner than we like.

Ramli also have “got in deep trouble” or “in a mess” with these kinds of BAD people in his lifetime. As usual we like to make friends with any people that smile, tell us good things, polite at first, share a joke, give us a treat, make lots of promises of becoming rich, provide us with goods that we have paid for and many things we experience that want us to friend someone what more if that person is our opposite sex!

Finally after some hours, some days, some weeks, some months or even some years we realized we are CHEATED and becoming SONOFABITCH.hahaha..serve you right,as we quietly tell our broken or angry hearts mainly we are not SMART ENOUGH either the STREET SMART OR BOOK SMART types.

Ramli’s advice to YOU young people in the Gen Z,Gen Y and GEN X category is always study, test, study again, test, review, consult, collaborate, conclude….whether that FRIEND is a Good or Bad Friend, really!UNless you dont mind getting cheated and lose lots of money invested in those “wonderful make me a Billionare or Millionaire” schemes.

So,in summary is all about RESULTS NOT REASONS!

If your friend or company you deal with is with GOOD intentions, then they will give you the results as indicated or promised if not when they are BAD people or hearts then the results will turn out to be REASONS and more REASONS only…till you wonder when you can get the results,at all!

Here’s some famous quotes or wisdom of Great Good People:

“There are two kinds of people in the world: those who make excuses and those who get results. An excuse person will find any excuse for why a job was not done, and a results person will find any reason why it can be done. Be a creator, not a reactor.”
Alan Cohen

“The great accomplishments of man have resulted from the transmission of ideas and enthusiasm.”
Thomas J. Watson, Sr

“Results! Why, man I have gotten a lot of results.
I know several thousand things that won’t work.”
Thomas A. Edison

“Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do when it ought to be done whether you like it or not.”
Thomas Huxley, one of our favorite graduation quotes

“There’s a difference between interest and commitment.
When you’re interested in doing something,
you do it only when circumstance permit.
When you’re committed to something,
you accept no excuses, only results.”
Art Turock

“Quality questions create a quality life.
Successful people ask better questions,
and as a result, they get better answers.”
Anthony Robbins

“Your perception affects the results of any situation. That means your perception controls reality from any point of view.”
Russ Stiffler,

“Everyone is bound to bear patiently the results of his own example.” Phaedrus

“The person who sends out positive thoughts activates the world around him positively and draws back to himself positive results.”

Rethink, Redesign, Rebuild

At the Swiss Davos 2010 Global Summit, attended by policy makers, business leaders, academics and many other people, they concluded that there is an urgent need to “Rethink, Redesign, Rebuild” organisations and business processes. And to do that effectively and efficiently “business leaders need to learn new skills.”

How to achieve that skills transition and move forward in a way that is speedy, effective and sustainable is of course the real top management challenge. Managers in all sectors need to become involved in the pursuit of the essential new skills going forward and to facilitate the innovative processes of rethinking, redesigning and rebuilding of new management paradigms.

Globalisation or Glocalisation -What Good Can They Do For Our Future..like Now?

In business, rich and famous, world class performance on February 9, 2010 by pramleeelvis Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

There are lots and lots of writings, seminars, debates, forums and special events on matters of Globalisation and some countries prefer to call them Glocalisation. Finally the Results are Important whatever all the talks or speeches and even resolutions being made.We live in this World for Results and not just talk, more talks or even many “bullshits” that nothing ever happened just empty hopes and promises to the ordinary folks or citizens.

The World is Enough For People In Need BUT Not Enough For People in Greed!

Are we saying all those Global Companies are Businesses in Greed all the time or we just do not understand their business models or business mission as envisioned by their Founders or Owners.

We need Global companies for jobs to our growing up children and with jobs they can survive all these “rat races” of the 21st Century and they can buy homes, feed their families, support their age old parents, travel with their families and purchase the basic neccesities like car, clothings, education to their kids and many more neccesities what more “luxuries of excesses” of living.

Every year we hear the “meeting of global minds” like Davos or UN Sponsored meetings or forums and also by Global Organisations and Companies. They come out with their findings, resolutions and “feel good” actions to make the year more propserous, peaceful and caring for all BUT actually the RESULTS are not that good or beneficial to global communities or the ordinary folks.

We now hear millions of USD are paid as salaries or remunerations of Financial Heads or Honchos and also many millions of  USD as Directors Fees to  Top Business Leaders in the many Fortune 500 companies as well as the money earned by all the Top Gangsters of the Global Underworld (only Allah SWT Knows everything, whats happening)

Like what Ramli heard from the World’s Top Mgmt Gurus like the late Peter Drucker-”we must only pay about 20 times more to the No.1 boss as compared to his average salary of his managers” BUT this is not the case!Top Executives even in Malaysia are paid “sky rocketing” remunerations as compared to their average worker or manager and at times we think it is so wasteful, living too excessively, unnecessary, exorbitant etc…BUT who can stop or deter all these BAD Practices? Is it the economics, politics or human needs that we must pay these Top Executives soooooooooo muchhhhhh!

Ramli have no answers but in my deep thoughts Ramli think “more money paid means more greed will surface and replicate” and thats bad for our Future of Peaceful and Caring Living philosophy.

Who runs or control the World Economy? The Business People or the Politicians or Political Leaders?

Businesses Must (Always) Remember Crosby’s Quality Management Absolutes otherwise YOU are in (BIG)trouble!

In all about QCDSME+I, all about dps training and consultancy business, world class performance on February 9, 2010 by pramleeelvis Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Ramli have been a student of the Gurus of Quality like Juran,Deming,Crosby,Ishikawa,Imai and many others…

Example like Dr.Philip Crosby teachings on the 4 Quality Management Absolutes that are:

1.Quality means conformance to requirements

2.Quality is obtained through prevention

3.Quality has  a performance standard of zero defects

4.Quality is measured by the price of nonconformance.

If Business Leaders always study, practice and live “Quality” then the chances of a major quality problem or crisis is almost null or zero occurences.

In 2010,Ramli heard that the World Economic Forum in Davos came to realize the need for Relearning of Fundamental Skills of Managing and Leading Rightly for Top Executives both in Business and Goverment. The many problems of businesses and govt have occured rampantly in the last 5 years or so and maybe its time to “go back to school” rather than “making money like mad” with poor quality results and products offered to the customers or citizens alike.

Ramli hoped Business Leaders “really” study about what is Quality and how to lead their organisations on Managing Quality themselves and not allow their salient duties of Managing & Leading Quality to be delegable to their No.2 or No.3 and worst still to the Quality Manager!

Here is an article on the recent Toyota Quality Problem-Time to rethink and restudy all things that Dr.Crosby have taught us so hard so well.

Toyota faces fresh questions over recall response

AFP – Tuesday, February 9,2010.

TOKYO (AFP) – – Toyota’s handling of dangerous defects in its cars came under fresh scrutiny Monday as the group was reported to be planning a global recall of 300,000 Prius hybrids worldwide over a brake problem.

The world’s largest auto maker is expected to tell Tokyo and Washington Tuesday it will pull the latest version of the cars that went on sale from May last year, Japan’s Kyodo News agency said late Monday, citing unnamed sources.

“Toyota is also considering filing recalls over other hybrid models, such as the luxury Lexus HS250h sedan and the hybrid-only Sai compact sedan, which employ a similar brake system to the Prius gas-electric hybrid,” the agency quoted the sources as saying.

The brake trouble comes on top of recalls of more than eight million vehicles worldwide due to sticking accelerator pedals that have severely tarnished the Japanese giant’s reputation for reliability.

The company, whose brand has long been synonymous with safety and quality, faces a class-action lawsuit on behalf of owners in the United States alleging that it hid problems that have led to the rash of recalls.

And Toyota’s North America president, Yoshimi Inaba, is set to testify at a US congressional hearing on Wednesday as part of a wider probe by lawmakers.

Toyota has denied it was slow to respond to the unintended acceleration issue but faces new questions about its handling of the episode, after it emerged that the company acted on the problem in Europe about six months ago.

“We did fix this in August last year (in Europe) after first hearing about the issue at the end of 2008,” said Toyota spokesman Paul Nolasco.

But it was initially thought that the problem only affected European right-hand drive vehicles, sold mainly in Britain and Ireland, he said.

The trouble was attributed to the car heater blowing hot air on the gas pedal, causing condensation to build up inside and result in sticking, but was not thought to occur in left-hand drive models, he said.

Toyota officials could not immediately confirm whether any action was taken at that point for vehicles already on the road in Europe.

Toyota has come under fire after saying it had fixed the brake system flaw during production of the latest Prius model last month, without warning drivers of those vehicles already on the road.

Toyota is believed to have already notified its dealers in Japan that it will pull all the new model Prius vehicles sold in Japan, amounting to about 170,000 units. The firm will recall about 100,000 Priuses in the US.

Related article: Prius woes may muffle hybrid buzz

The model — which combines a petrol combustion engine with a battery-powered electric motor — is Toyota’s flagship hybrid car and key to its efforts to stay in pole position in fuel-efficient vehicles.

Toyota, which in 2008 dethroned General Motors as the world’s biggest car maker, has seen its brand image badly hurt by its handling of recalls affecting more than its entire 2009 global sales of 7.8 million vehicles.

The accelerator problems have been blamed for several accidents, including one in California in August in which four family members were killed.

Company president Akio Toyoda said Friday he was “deeply sorry” for the string of quality issues and said he would head a new task force to raise standards and investigate the cause of the problems.

Toyota shares fell 1.05 percent to 3,280 yen on Monday, having plunged by more than 20 percent in roughly two weeks.

Toyota has said it expects the accelerator trouble to burn a two-billion-dollar hole in its profits this year in recall costs and lost sales.

Roaring prospects (2010-Year of the Tiger)

2010/02/08 NST On-line

Stories by Rozana Sani

The Year of the Tiger, according to the Chinese calendar, is a time for bravery, competitiveness and unpredictability. To the ICT fraternity, it’s time to rise again.

A good year is in store for the ICT industry in 2010, the Year of the Metal Tiger, says feng shui consultant Master Clammond Ng.
From the chart he plotted for the period between 5am and 6.59am on Feb 4, which marks the start of the Year of the Metal Tiger, he sees an abundance of wood, an element of the Chinese Cycle of Five Elements (water, wood, fire, earth and metal).
“Since the ICT sector is represented by fire, it will do well as wood feeds fire,” says Ng, who is also managing director of Wealthy Purpose Sdn Bhd.
He believes that many companies will start placing orders to upgrade their IT systems and infrastructure this year.
“This will not be a one-time business, but a continuous one,” he says, explaining that the abundance of wood will keep the fire burning continuously.
“Sales and orders will keep pouring in, and this will be obvious from March until July.”
But another feng shui consultant, Master Jason Eng, sees the year to be average for the ICT industry.
“The year comes with lots of wood element, but without water. This indicates a dry year. It will also be a challenging year because the elements are not balanced,” says Eng, who is on the panel of WOFS.com Sdn Bhd, a global chain of all things feng shui.
The lack of the water element is based on his reading of the birth chart of the Year of the Tiger at 6.48am on Feb 4.
So, water is the lucky element this year, Eng points out, adding that the metal element will be a strong influence.

“From the chart, the abundance of wood indicates that there is a wealth of opportunities for the ICT industry, but there may be no growth since there is no water,” he explains.
“The first half of the year will be competitive with improvement to be seen in the second half.”
He advises industry players to be innovative to grow and sustain their business.
“They also need to be creative, be focused and come up with business strategies to make profits in the short term.
“The best months for the ICT business are the second half of February and March, and the first half of August and September. Overall, the second half of the year should be better than the first half,” he says.
Ng shares Eng’s views, saying that industry players will have to set their goals clearly and aim high.
Among businesses governed by the fire element, according to Ng, are those in digital arts and 3-D animation, and commercial production houses dealing in advertisements. “They will do very well this year.”
For organisations thinking of updating their IT equipment or getting new or more efficient solutions, Ng says this year is the right time to do so.
“Even for individuals, this is a good year to refresh personal IT equipment.
“Hardware is getting cheaper, better, faster and fancier. With the Government’s subsidy of RM50 per month for two years for broadband services and netbook purchases for students, more will be encouraged to spend on computer products. This will lead to a better outlook for the ICT industry, as judged from the reading of the chart.
“Government servants are also getting loans to purchase computers every three years, and this will boost computer sales in the Year of the Tiger.”
For personal development, Ng believes that spending more time in front of the computer can help. “It’s like deriving more fire energy from your computer, and this will make you more productive in return,” he explains.
Eng, meanwhile, recommends boosting the water element by having gadgets related to water around your home or at the office.
“If you have a water fountain, place it in the North-West section of your office, room or house,” he says, highlighting those in the computer business to do so to improve their business.
“Everyone should carry a water globe keychain or a Ho Tu element or a water pendant to give a boost to the water element.”

How to win an Olympic Gold Medal for Malaysia in this coming London Olympics in 2012!The TDR Formula from Henry Tongmo O from Korea (Ramli’s Boxing Advisor)

In Sports on February 8, 2010 by pramleeelvis Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

When Ramli and his Company DPS Promotions were promoting the “Thriller at The Peak” Pro-Boxing Championships at Genting Highlands in March,1997,Ramli’s Boxing Advisor Mr.Henry Tongmo O from Korea taught Ramli about the importance of “TDR” in Sports Excellence.

What is TDR?

TDR means Training,Diet and Rest.

All sports person who wants to be a World Champion must have this TDR approach or discipline.

Firstly, the sports person must have Good Training. Here it means you must excel in yoru sports through lots of training to polish your skills, physical and strategies.Without good training you will never be a World Champion.

Secondly, you must have the best diet programme where your body will be condition to perform excellently and able to withstand all the challenges during the competition period.

To have good training but with poor diet can make the budding sportsperson lose their event since they are not 100% ready..

Finally, the third factor is must have ample rest. All excellent sportsperson who have good training and diet but with no discipline of good ample rest will not be able to win championships since their opponents are always at 100% peak performance and all of them may abide to this “TDR” Factor.

Are Malaysian sports person possessed this “TDR” factor all the time?Maybe not, since we always lose the great opportunity to be World Champions or Asian Champions due to the lack of either the T,D or R factor! Many times it is more the T and R factor and the D factor is always at our good control since cost of food and drinks are always budgeted and well taken note.If this is true, then its high time we focus on the T and R factor now!

The London Olympics is just 2 years away and if we do not give our 100% committment like this “TDR” factor then maybe 1/2 the battle is lost already and that will certainly not make any Malaysian Sportsperson win a GOLD MEDAL,for sure!

Can we wait again for 2016 for our 1st Malaysian GOLD Medal?YOU tell me if you are still “alive” in 2016?

Malaysia Boleh! That’s the Spirit to Win Malaysia’s 1st Gold Medal at this 2012 London Olympics and almost RM1Million waiting to be banked in to the Malaysian Sportsperson/s account.WOW!
